Sustainable Trails - One Anniversary, two births and a collaboration!It’s official, the dates are out and you can lock in 1 - 10 November 2024 for this year’s Sustainable Backyards Trail. It’s also the 10 year anniversary of the Trail so there’s some celebrations to be had! Sign up to the Trails Kōrero and keep an eye on socials to be first to find out.
We’re expanding! This year will also see the start of the Sustainable Builds and Farms Trail. This will run from 11 - 17 November and focuses on local farms and producers, and building and renovating across Taranaki. The collaboration! The final weekend of the Backyards Trail (10 -11 November) will see the Backyards Trail joining up with Permaculture in New Zealand (PiNZ). They’ll be holding their national hui in New Plymouth and together we’ll be attracting some exciting keynote speakers! Watch this space! **The Backyards Trail shares dates with the Centuria Garden Festival and the Taranaki Arts Trail so spread the word and book accommodation before it fills up!
