🏔️ Kei te hoki mai ngā manu a Taranaki - Taranaki's birds are returning...!

"As our eyes grow dim and our hearing is fading, it is the mokopuna (grandchildren) that will see and hear the birds and other species returning (or disappearing). It is important we provide space and time for both tamariki and manu (birds) to return to the taiao...

Happy are the hearts who hear and see 'Ka hoki mai ngā manu a Taranaki' - the birds of majestic Taranaki returning."

A beautiful story from our Te Ara Taiao team! 🌿 Read the full story.

🌿 Green Loop at Business Connections: Growing a More Circular Taranaki

What a great night at the recent Taranaki Chamber of Commerce Business Connections on 4th August! With the event sold out, Juno Gin provided the perfect setting for a fun evening of connection, conversation and sustainability.

Green Loop was thrilled to be part of the night and to see such strong interest from the local business community in finding practical ways to reduce food waste and keep valuable resources in circulation.

There was a special connection to the evening too, Juno Gin was Green Loop’s very first customer, so it was fantastic to be back where the Green Loop journey began and to see how the network has grown.

Congratulations to Chere from Wild Pear, who was the lucky recipient of our prize of three months of free Green Loop food waste collection! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, ask questions and find out more about Green Loop. We’re genuinely thrilled by the enthusiasm we’re seeing from Taranaki businesses.

Could your business be the next to join Green Loop? 🌱

If your business is generating food waste, we can help you keep it out of landfill and turn it into a valuable resource, with a simple, practical local collection service.
