Contact the beautiful local organisations listed if you have excess food through your business, home-grown produce or if you are keen to support these inspiring organisations through donations or volunteering.

🥷 Secret Nature Cleanup in April: sign up to get invited!

On Sunday 26 April, from 9am, around Ngāmotu - New Plymouth, we will organise a Nature Cleanup in a secret location with a local organisation.

WHY SECRET? 🕶️ Great question! For health & safety reasons, we’ll need to be able to contact the volunteers during the event and have a limit on the number of volunteers involved. Other than the location, it will be a regular Community Cleanups: we will sort the rubbish on-site, and it should take around 1.5h. ♻️

⚡ Community Energy Taranaki: electrification, solar & LNG webinar

Community Energy Taranaki ⚡ is supporting individual and collective community action to reduce your energy costs by electrifying your whare, business and local infrastructure. This is how you can get involved ⤵

1. Help them understand where households are on their electrification journey & what barriers they face. Fill in the short community electrification survey here.

2. Thinking of installing solar panels? Join the buyers’ group! Why?
   - Sharing knowledge & experiences – identify your needs, appropriate installation, financing, installer evaluations, etc.
   - Potential supplier discounts.
   - Helping “make the decision”.... but with peace of mind.

3. Webinar: Why is LNG a bad idea? Wed. 1 April 7:00- 8:30-pm
