"If We Destroy the Earth Could Mars be Earth's Life-Raft?"

A Public Forum with Dr Roger Hanson, science columnist for Taranaki Daily News

It could be that one day the Earth becomes too toxic to support human life – what then? Could Mars be a place where the human species can be saved from extinction? Taking humans to Mars is a daunting prospect. Dr Hanson will review the key issues behind travelling to Mars, establishing a colony and transforming Mars to support human life.
