Nature Cleanup with Trails and Tots - anyone welcome to join!
This cleanup is organised by Trails and Tots and Sustainable Taranaki.
BYO gloves and buckets if possible!
Location(s): Fitzroy Beach - meet on the lawn opposite the Fitzroy Cafe Beach Kiosk.
This event is family and young kids-friendly! Your pēpi and tamariki are welcome!
ALL WELCOME! You do NOT need to be “fit”. Any help is MUCH APPRECIATED!
No RSVP required! Just show up!
The aim of this event is:
- to clean chosen locations the best we can
- to divert trash from the landfill
- to engage and educate our community about waste and recycling
- to create a fun and meaningful event for families to connect with the environment and take action towards bettering sustainability/conservation
