Māori Language Classes For The Community. Nau mai haere mai.
Welcome to everyone who would like to join us. This is for any level, big welcome to our beginners.
Feel free to join at any time. We learn te reo Māori while in Immersion.
Course: Environment of Pukekura Park- Build language towards a walk through Pukekura Park & The Zoo
Venue: 28 Brooklands Park Drive, The Brooklands Enviro-Hub, (next door to the Brooklands Zoo)
Start Date: Wednesdays. 8/10/25 – 12/11/25, 5 sessions over 5 weeks.
Time: 10am-11.30am
Cuppa Tea at 11.30am. Bring toppings for crackers.
Date for walk using te reo Māori only: 12th November, Park & Zoo.

Gardening using te reo Māori only.
Same venue as per above
Start Date: 19/11/25 – 10/12/5 - 5 sessions over 5 weeks
We will do some basic language building and then gardening. A cuppa tea will also be available at 11.30am. Bring toppings for crackers if you want.
A great place to come and practise speaking te reo Māori. Learn how to string sentences together verbally. Listen to others speaking & relax.
