The Rubbish Trip Film Screening, Live Q&A and Zero Waste Potluck

  • The Junction Zero Waste Hub Colson Rd new pl (map)

The Junction invites you to a public screening of the Happen Films short film “The Rubbish Trip”, followed by an in-person Q&A with the film protagonists, Hannah and Liam, and a zero waste potluck.

Hannah Blumhardt and Liam Prince have been living without a rubbish bin since the beginning of 2015.

In 2017, they launched The Rubbish Trip; for three years, they lived on $20 a day, couch-surfing and hitch-hiking around Aotearoa New Zealand offering free workshops on living zero waste.

This film is a look inside how they live and the philosophy behind it all.

The film will screen at XXPM after an online introduction by Antoinette Wilson, one half of the Happen Films duo!

The event will include a zero waste potluck – we encourage you to bring along some kai to share that you have sourced or brought along without disposable packaging. We’ll provide the reusable crockery and cutlery and the inu (drinks).
