SAVE on Your Power Bill this Winter!

Half of Kiwis live in cold damp homes and are paying more for power than they need to. This is why we’re partnering with our community to share simple tips on preserving home energy.

“Small changes can make a big difference as winter brings colder homes, damp and an increase in electricity bills”, says SAVE Program Manager Jamie Silk.

“The price charged by my retailer for electricity went up 7.6% this month!”

Taranaki whānau are facing a tough time with the dramatic increase in the cost of living. Washing only a full load of laundry, getting draft stoppers to prevent heat loss, and changing to LED light bulbs are a few minor adjustments that can save you hundreds of dollars and keep your whānau warmer.

Community advisors offer free 40-minute home visits or ZOOM calls to help people identify the little, no-cost changes they can make.
